Before co-founding Purpose for Insurance, Steffi was a Senior Associate at two advisory boutiques specializing in insurance and reinsurance.
She handled a wide range of tasks, including data analytics, market research, project management, editing, and publishing, gaining extensive experience and expertise in the industry.
Prior to entering consulting in 2016, Steffi held several roles at Vontobel Asset Management AG in Zurich, such as Head of Investment Content Support, Senior Investment Writer, and Senior Business Analyst, where she focused on peer group and fund sales performance analyses.
Steffi began her career in Hong Kong, serving as a business editor at the German Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong, South China, Vietnam) and later as Head of Corporate Communications Greater China at Clariant, a Swiss multinational specialty chemical company.
In addition to her professional roles, Steffi served pro bono as Head of Finance at a nursery school in her Swiss home community, overseeing budgeting, controlling, accounting, reporting, and tax, demonstrating her commitment to community service.
